I don't think I'll be needing it again soon. It is a little banged up on the outside but it still functions perfectly. Here is the last picture I took with it.
Just kidding. I am just fine. I was in the dinghy when I took that shot and I was not at risk.
We dropped our visitors at the Ketchikan airport and headed north to Fools inlet. It was a very deep inlet and well protected from the wind but it had a serious miniature fly problem and they liked to bite. We were careful to keep the screens closed but I still got bites everywhere. In the morning we went to the bear observatory, but we went at low tide and the salmon were not swimming upstream so the bears were not interested. Later that evening we returned and found a few grazing around the lagoon and were able to get a few pictures.

Today we left and headed to Wrangell. As we move farther north it becomes more and more difficult to get connectivity. The wilderness is great and we have all the comforts of home in the boats but there is no FM radio, AM Radio, Television or internet. I will continue to post as we find places with connectivity.
We did stay in Smugglers cove on June 30. After heading north from Ketchikan we hit some pretty rough seas in Clarence Strait so we aborted early and found a protected place to rest. The next morning it was calm.
Tomorrow we move to Petersburg and I expect good things there. We have a fireworks show tonight (July 3rd) in Wrangell.
