Off to Hartley Bay

Hartley Bay is a long haul from Prince Rupert but we were starting to look at the weather and we were looking for a window to cross Cape Caution. Hartley Bay had nice reviews and an anchorage plus a dock. Seemed like a very nice place to stop. It is at the south end of the Grenville Channel and a good 10 and a half hours run. We wound up the alarm clocks and got up at 5:00 AM to make this run.

It was closed. We just anchored in a channel and stayed the night. The following day we planned on being to Bella Bella so it was really just a stop over.
