I really enjoyed Kwatsi bay last time and even though we heard it had closed, we stopped in to see what was happening. There was a sign on the empty dock saying no public moorage -- we are closed. We drifted in the bay and had a lunch but I was sad. The next stop on the tour was Lagoon Cove. After Lunch, we fired up again and headed there for a night. Things were pretty fun there.
Lagoon cove was much more as I remembered it. We arrived in time for pot luck happy hour and the shrimp that was provided. Had nice discussions with other cruisers and Matt hung a Tyee Burgee on the wall.
We could only stay one night but it was nice. I picked up a T-shirt and we pressed on to the next stop in the Broughton Islands.
