Juneau

Back to the big city and all of it's trappings. On the way in we picked up some dinghy fuel, propane and diesel. Topped them all off. We took a guest slip in Harris Harbor and took some time to relax, go out to eat and walk the city. Liz and Christian were delivered to the airport after one month of cruising and Jeff and Norma were there in a hotel awaiting their ride on Sudden Inspiration. Barb picked up her friend Ed and he is with us now.

We took the tram up the mountain and there was a spectacular view of Gastineau Channel.

Did not do much else except take on water, provisions for the next two weeks and rest. Reflecting on the last few days, it has been pretty great.

That is all for Juneau -- I need to save some adjectives for Glacier bay. Our reservation is on the 18th of July and this is one thing I have been really looking forward to.

Awesome trip so far! We are enjoying the blog and photos very much. If you like halibut and chips, check out The Hangar on the Wharf, a short walk from your slip.
