I got Lazy yesterday -- no blog

I'll make up for it today. Yesterday morning we dinghied over to Orcas Island and tied to the dinghy dock. We walked up to the souvenir stores and had a breakfast burrito. (well I did, Barb just had a tea). We moved CODA from Blind Bay to Friday harbor after getting home and putting the dinghy up. The weather brightened up a bit and it turned out to be a beautiful day. It was about one and a half hours cruising which was very nice.

We took a slip at Friday Harbor as we were expecting guests to arrive by ferry. Unfortunately, there was a change of plans with that. We walked the town and looked around and I snapped a picture of a totem pole (I guess) in the park.

Funny -- note the bear injury on her leg.

Later we were too tired to cook so we walked back to town and ate at a restaurant. It was pretty late so we just came home and crashed. Did not even wake up to see the blood moon.

Today, Barb is out running errands so I decided to take on some boat maintenance. I changed the generator fuel filter. I did the Main engine fuel filters yesterday and they were pretty bad so I decided to proactively do the generator even though it was not time yet. While cruising yesterday I noticed 5 psi additional fuel pressure so I think changing the filters was a good move. While I was in the bilge, I cleaned under the engine and put down new diapers. (oil absorbent sheets) It is unfortunate that Matt did not include fuel pressure in the technical report. I could have verified my higher pressure with real data.

I then changed the oil on the dinghy outboard. This is it's first oil change and I hit the 20 hours recommended time. I took it out and cruised around to ensure that everything was tight and no leaks. (or leeks either)

Barb will be back in awhile so I will hang out and read until then.

No food menu since we ate out but the technical stuff is here since we moved. I have also been asked for more live video of moving CODA. I will do that tomorrow and post a new bridge cam. Sorry, I got a bit rambly with this report. I will try to crisp it up next time.

Could you tell if the bear injury on the totem pole was put there by the artist, or after installation?
