Beartrack Cove

Our last night in Glacier Bay was in Beartrack cove. We were enticed into the cove by the name. We actually left fairly late as we wanted to stay in Sandy Cove for more time but we were sure to have a great afternoon playing with all of the bears in Beartrack Cove.

Nope -- no bears. -- no whales. I did not even take out the camera. It was a quiet non-descript cove. Anchor held and we had a nice dinner and a restful evening. We got up early to head out to the ranger station and visitor center in Bartlett Cove. There we dropped off Ed to fly home and toured the lodge. Win some and lose some -- it was still a beautiful day in the bay.

We had to be out of the park on the 23rd as our permit was expiring so this was our last day in glorious Glacier Bay.
