Agua Verde

We left early and headed to Agua Verde. This is a beautiful large cove with many little areas to anchor in. We moved into a very protected cove and spent the day snorkeling and swimming. The seas were calm, and the water was warm.

There was a small rocky area which made a nice place to look at fish and fauna that I spend a couple of hours exploring.

The next morning, we did some exploring around the bigger cove and discovered a pod of 50-60 dolphin feeding with the requisite flock of pelicans and seagulls. It was a spectacular view.

The dolphin is a most friendly species of wildlife in the sea. They always come up and greet us, swim in the bow wake of the boat. They are incredibly fast and can jump several feet out of the water without losing stride. We spent an hour playing with them.

After exploring the area, we returned to Coda and enjoyed another beautiful Sea of Cortez sunset.

A beautiful spot, but time to move on.
