Snug Anchorage on the route back to Ketchikan

It is hard to conceive of the distance between the east coast of Baranof Island to Ketchikan. This is now the second anchorage and another eight hour day in our passage for a total of 20 hours so far and we have another six to go. Going eightish knots is not fast but it is an impressive distance.

We were tired and ready for dinner so we stopped in Snug Harbor for the night.

Barb and Tonia went Kayaking and looking for starfish. They are not hard to find and it amazes me how Tonia squeals every time she sees one.

This was just a place to stay for the evening but it was a beautiful spot as always.

I really did not take many pictures in this cove so I will take this opportunity to add a picture that was sent to me from Dale Tumey, another boater/traveler that we ran across on the trip. He emailed me a few pictures that he took and I thought that they were really beautiful. It sums up a large part of the trip for me.
