Espiritu Santo

Just outside of La Paz is an Island, well actually two islands, Espiritu Santo and Isla La Partida. This is the same Island group that gave Matt and me such problems with wind just two days earlier. The west Side of the islands have coves that are well protected. It is about three and a half hours out from La Paz, so it seemed like a nice day tour. After looking around the city, we took off for the quiet of the islands.

Departing La Paz.

The water temperature was 70 degrees, and the air was around 75 so we ended up snorkeling and swimming for a couple of hours prior to dinner. The wind did come up a bit, but we were protected by the island and very comfortable.

The pelicans did not care we were there, they just went about their business of fishing.
