On the long trek back to Desolation Sound we decided to treat ourselves to an evening at Blind Bay. I was here before also and it is a more expensive marina but it has a nice restaurant and some beautiful hikes. It was a short drive there so we had most of the day to explore.
We went to the Canadian answer to the redwood forest and the trees were indeed big -- but seriously ...
and they were tall too.
We hiked out to the point where there is a good view of the marina and our boats.
All in all it was a relaxing stop on a long haul back through Canada.
